I mostly travel to Curaçao for work with little time to fully experience the hospitality on the island. But this time, it’s a vacation for two.
After a 20 minute scenic drive from the airport, we arrive at the gate of Coral Estate located at Rif. St.Marie, Willibrordus. The charming host at the front desk is expecting us and shows us to our Sea Views Studio. The entourage is chic and charming with a breathtaking dose of nature. Within minutes, we slip into beach attire and walk over to the new Koraal Rooftop Terrace.
We lounge in and out of the guest infinity pool while sipping on delicious welcome cocktails and soaking in the expansive beauty of this area that provides a spectacular view of the estate from every angle. As we stroll back to our perfectly manicured private garden, we breathe in the perfumed ocean breeze. The atmosphere here is so relaxing.
From our pool, we admire the day turn into night in all it’s fabulous sunset hues before heading out for our first romantic dinner just a few steps away.
When the sun goes down, dozens of tiki torches light up the shore, creating the perfect ambience for an upscale meal on the beach at Karakter, an award winning restaurant where every evening the chef prepares a different three course menu featuring elegant appetizers, the catch of the day, hand cut steaks and decadent desserts.
After a restorative night sleep and a hearty breakfast with our feet in the sand, we are fueled up and ready to swim and snorkel in the clear-blue sea abundant with beautiful corals and marine life, for the rest of the day.
We just break for a tasty lunch and drinks served right on the beach strip. Being on Play-Repeat for the next two days at Coral Estate has reset and restored our natural balance.
