If you love exploring nature, head to Banda’bou on the north western side of the island, by car, tour bus, Jeep Safari or ATV. The jewel of the region is Christoffel National Park, which is an approximately 40 minute drive from Willemstad. Here you can hike up to the 377 meter mountaintop point and enjoy the most breathtaking view of the island. The park is home to a host of exotic flora and fauna including the elusive White Tailed Deer, birds of prey called Warawaras and dozens of orchids species.
The hike up to the mountain takes about one to two hours, depending on your speed. We know it’s hard to get up early, especially with all the nightly entertainment in Curaçao, but this walk is definitely worth it. Put on your walking shoes, make sure to take enough water with you, and get up to the top!

You can hop on a boat trip and explore the glittering coastal regions of Curaçao. Boat charters can also take you to the famous underwater cave known as the Blue Room. Your bravery to enter will be rewarded with a kaleidoscope of turquoise and blue surrounding you along the cave walls.
