Walking in one of the most beautiful inner cities of the world, it is magical to enjoy the atmosphere with many shops open and sounds of live jazz or an acoustic guitars filter through the alleys from charming restaurants and bars offering a variety of drink and food specials.  Explore the charming art walk on Windstraat, where local artists come to showcase their work, and connect with each other.  This delightful alley also hosts a Sangria pop bar and street musicians. And it has some the best photo opportunities, as it is full of life and color.

Traditional dancers weave through the streets, inviting onlookers to join in the fun. While others choose to salsa dance under the stars in front of the beautiful old Governors residence.

The busy craft market on historic Gomezplein is also very popular; with local artisans advertising their crafts and local food specialties. Wonderful street plays are also hosted in the square, with dramatic stilt walkers and live actors playing out theatrical scenes. Younger families enjoy the fun kids activity area on Wilhelminapark, where rainbow colored bouncy castles offer endless joy and the delicious smell of warm popcorn wafts in the air.  Children of all ages can be found enjoying the fun of eating giant sticks of bright pink fairy floss, or having their face-painted.

With the iconic UNESCO buildings along the Handelskade as a impressive backdrop, stroll the famous Pontoon Bridge at sunset and enjoy the spectacular fireworks show over the harbour.
